The issue that makes Time Machine more complicated in terms of options for backup locations is that it requires the use of the Apple File System (APFS), which first launched with macOS High Sierra. It's optimized for solid-state drives (SSDs) and other all-flash storage devices, but it also works on mechanical and hybrid drives. Time Machine is designed to back up your selected volumes every hour, writing any changes you've made into a new snapshot that captures only the differences between the previous backup. Apple reserves the right to refuse or limit the quantity of any device for any reason. Apple's Time Capsule acts as a network storage device specifically for Time Machine backups, allowing both wired and wireless backups to the Time Capsule's internal hard drive. Time Machine may also be used with any external or internal volume. Apple's built-in Time Machine app makes it simple to back up files on your Mac to an external drive. This screenshot is taken from the old Mac version of the utility which looks somewhat different but also has the same functionality.
Full access by all users by default is not allowed. Directv now app apple tv not working.
Obviously this is going to affect your security. Use with Caution.
It can also help to use the correct workgroup name. This used to be WORKGROUP by default but win10 tends to use IPv6 now for local group accounts and I am not sure WORKGROUP is default.
